KUNDUZ, Afghanistan – At least Nine Afghan Armies, including police, were killed in a Taliban attack in northern Takhan province Sunday night, according to sources.  

The clashes that inflicted great lose to Afghan forces, as well as the Taliban, took place in Naw Abad village of Dasht-e-Qala district in the province.

“The clashes ended after an hour and the Taliban has also suffered casualties in the clashes but there is no exact information yet,” the source wrote. 

The Taliban or Afghan security officials did not immediately comment on the incident.
