KABUL, Afghanistan – The Ministry of Public Health on Sunday reported 125 new positive cases of coronavirus out of 398 samples tested in the last 24 hours.  

At least four covid-19 patient is reported dead in the country.

In total, 108,591 samples have been tested in government centers and there are 5,027 known active cases, according to data from the Ministry of Public Health.     

The number of total cases is now 39,044, total reported deaths reached to 1,441, and total number of recoveries are reported 32,576 people.      

By province, at least 86 reported in Farah, Daikundi 20, Herat seven, Nangarhar nine, Kabul one, Kunduz three, Badghis nine Helmand one, Laghman one, Kunar one, Samangan one and Zabul also one patient tested positive.  

Globally, the total number of deaths from coronavirus is reported more than 957,037 and the number of known global coronavirus cases is 30,782,337, according to Johns Hopkins University.
