KABUL, Afghanistan – At least one killed and further three wounded after a twin blasts hit Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, local authorities confirmed.
Ferdaus Faramarz, spokesman for the Kabul police, said the incident happened at around 9am in Police District 5 of the capital, hurting at least three civilians after a roadside mine went off.
Meanwhile, the second blast reported at around 9:10am in PD8 of Kabul City, killing at least one child.
According to Faramarz, these explosives were embedded at roadside flower pods at the location.
No group or individual has immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks.
