HERAT, Afghanistan – At least 10 passengers killed, including women and children, after a public transportation bus collided with an Urvan vehicle in early Thursday morning in Herat-Kandahar highway.

According to Herat officials, ten people are killed, including three women and five men, and further six wounded during the accident.

Officials did not provide further details on the number and identities of the victims, but said victims are rushed to the nearby hospitals for immediate care.
